Microsoft Word is a program to create digital documents. With this program. create letters, resumes, forms, flyers and much more!
In Level 1, Learn the basic features. Look at common keys and icons. Explore ribbons, tabs, scrolling, toolbars, entering and formatting text and making paragraphs. Learn how to create bulleted lists, use find and replace, spell check, grammar check, and synonyms features. A practice activity will be assigned for homework
Level 2 will explore how to move and copy text, use print features, delete and copy formats, sort lists, create columns, add and customize page borders, create and format tables, use templates, and manage and create shortcuts to files. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.
Level 3 will work with multi-page documents to add headers and footers, title pages, page numbers, footnotes, table of contents and bibliographies. Learn how to change margins, line spacing and paragraph spacing, use shortcut keys, and insert pictures, clipart and text boxes. Practice using hyperlinks and using tables to make charts and graphs. A practice activity will be assigned for homework.
*These classes use Microsoft Word 2016, but older versions of software may be compatible.
